Insomnia

Insomnia is an inability to get to sleep or an inability to maintain a sleep pattern considered normal for a particular person, or irregular waking up during the night.

According to a recent ‘Which Report’ one in ten GP consultations relate to sleep problems, with insomnia topping the list. "Up to one in four people report difficulty sleeping at least 3 times a week".

Many people have experienced insomnia at some stage of their life whether it be for a short or long period. Some people turn to medication for help, but insomnia can be resolved naturally without drugs, with the use of hypnotherapy.

Hypnotherapy is a potent tool for treating insomnia, assisting in deeply relaxing the body, before drifting into a natural sleep.

Self hypnosis is particularly beneficial to those experiencing sleeping difficulty. This will be taught during the second session.
